Today we have convened a meeting of the Supreme Security Council on the subject of the incidents in the Transnistrian region and the security developments in the region.
What has been happening over the last 24 hours in the Transnistrian region is an escalation of tensions.
I convened today the meeting for establishing the National Committee for European Integration, that brings together representatives of several authorities and will coordinate the preparation process of the Republic of Moldova's accession to the European Union, for which a lot of work has to be done.

Thank you for the opportunity to open the 10th Annual Meeting of the Conference of Regional and Local Authorities for the Eastern Partnership (CORLEAP). I trust that this reunion will bring value to the entire network of regional and local authorities from our region, and will also contribute to further empowering Moldovan communities and local governments.
