Presidency of the Republic of Moldova
President Nicolae Timofti awarded the Order of Honour to Romanian Ambassador to Moldova Marius Lazurca at a ceremony today.
A presidential decree was issued in this respect, and the state award was given to the Romanian official “as a sign of deep gratitude for his special contribution to the development and deepening of the Moldovan-Romanian friendship and cooperation ties."
Lazurca said he was honoured to receive the award, adding that it represented Moldova’s appreciation for Romania’s presidency, government, Foreign Ministry and entire Diplomatic Mission.
